The meeting “Life is short, political regime in the Russian Federation is long (?)” took place on March 29, 2018 in the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
In the first part of the meeting, the audience had the pleasure of listening to Andriy Kruglashov, PhD in Political Science, who authored the speech “Where from the changes in Russia are to come?” Students from the Political Club of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv presented their reports: Serhii Tytiuk proposed a theoretical framework for the nature of political regimes in his presentation entitled “Escape into the authoritarianism: what is the starting point and the destination of the political regime in Russia”
Oleksiy Negoda shed some light on the question of the possibility of any changes in Russia with regard to separatist movements presenting the report “Separatist trends in Russia. Who is against Putin?” Presentations were followed by Q&A session and general discussion after a break.
Viktoriia Khalanchuk, an analyst of the Centre for International Studies, moderated the meeting.
