Policy paper "Russian presidential election: challenges and opportunities for Ukraine"
The “gentleman’s set” of a democratic political regime includes not only elections but electoral competition, the unpredictability of the outcome and the change of government as a result of elections also. None of the above characterize Russian presidential election, which is to be held on March 18, 2018. Even though, the organization of the election as well as Russian foreign policy priorities after the election put many questions on the agenda for Ukraine.
