Nadiia Koval, Director of the Centre for International Studies of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, participated in MAG Summer Convention 2018, which took place in Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv on June 27-29, 2018. She had a presentation entitled "National Self-perception and European Integration: Lessons from Polish-Ukrainian Borderland" in the framework of the panel "Identities and Perceptions at the Western Borderlands of Ukraine"

On June 27, 2018, Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy had the honor to host H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine Mr. Salem Ahmed AlKaabi with his lecture on “UAE-Ukrainian bilateral relations. A brief overview of the humanitarian situation in the Republic of Yemen”. The meeting was attended by Sergiy Korsunsky, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy and Myroslava Scherbatiuk, the Director of the Directorate General for the Middle East and Africa of the MFA of Ukraine.

On 14 June 2018, while paying a working visit to Beijing, Ambassador Sergiy Korsunsky, Director of Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, met with Ambassador Qi Dayu, the Executive Vice President of China Diplomatic Academy and Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

The third meeting of the project "Student Diplomatic Laboratory"  "Diplomatic immunity at intelligence’s service. Or vice versa?" took place on June 7, 2018 in the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Sergiy Korsunsky gave an opening speech. He introduced the key speaker of the first half of the event - Viktor Hvozd, PhD in Military Science, a professional intelligence officer, a reserve lieutenant general. Viktor Hvozd shared his experience as an intelligence officer and presented his book "Military Intelligence of Ukraine at the Turn of the Millennium" - a retrospective view of the history of military intelligence and its place in Ukrainian state-building.
