Within the first official visit to Kyiv, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Tudor Ulianovschi had a meeting with the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Sergiy Korsunsky. Minister was interested in the reorganization process of the Diplomatic Academy with a view to implement the best practices of Ukraine in the field of professional training of diplomats and civil servants in Moldova.

The Professional Development Center held the seminar "Welcome to Ukraine" for newly arrived in Ukraine foreign diplomats. Priorities of the Ukrainian Foreign Policy, Ukrainian political system, internal politics, the perspectives economy and investment potential of the country, history and cultural heritage of Ukraine was discussed during this seminar.

On October 2, 2018, Director of Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Sergiy Korsunsky and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vasyl Bodnar opened the introductory seminar for foreign diplomats “Welcome to Ukraine” at-the Professional Development Center. During the two-day seminar, the newly arrived in Ukraine foreign diplomats and experienced Ukrainian speakers from both the public and the private sector will discuss various topics of Ukrainian history, politics, economy, and culture.
