Caspian Basin Studies (CBS) is a specialized program of the Institute for Development and Diplomacy (IDD) at ADA University, organized with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
CBS is designed for foreign diplomats and civil servants and aims to provide an in-depth study of the countries of the Caspian Basin, covering the demographic composition of the countries, ethnic and territorial conflicts, as well as geopolitics and regional security issues.
The program brings together representatives from 18 countries, including Ukraine, Croatia, Egypt, Nepal, Jordan, Kuwait, Turkey and Brazil. Ukraine is represented on the program by Myroslav Denis, First Deputy Director of DAU.
Participants study the peculiarities of the Caspian region at the lectures of ADA University professors and IDD experts, as well as representatives of government institutions and analytical centers.
