The Diplomatic Academy hosted a two-day online seminar on world politics, which was attended by about 200 civil servants working in the field of foreign relations.
The participants mastered four blocks of issues:
- Factors of confrontation and cooperation between the countries of the Middle East, historical retrospective of the region, prospects for Ukraine’s cooperation with the Middle East (speaker: Ihor Semyvolos, Director of the Center for Middle East Studies).
- National, pan-Asian and global ideological constructions of China, foreign policy of President Xi Jinping (speaker: Alina Hrytsenko, Chief Consultant at the National Institute for Strategic Studies).
- The impact of elections on the system of foreign policy and public opinion in the United States (speaker: Oleksandr Khara, expert at the Center for Defense Strategies, Deputy Chair of the Black Sea Institute of Strategic Studies).
- Scenarios and Trends 2024: Eastern Europe (speaker: Sergiy Gerasymchuk, Deputy Executive Director, Regional Initiatives and Neighborhood Program Director of the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”).
