On August, 31, a delegation of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) headed by Spyridon Flogaitis, a well-known scientist, lawyer and diplomat, visited the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of international and public law for defending the territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as Ukraine’s movement towards membership in the European Union.
Spyridon Flogaitis noted that he personally and his institution are ready to contribute to the quality training of Ukrainian diplomats on European Public Law. He also assured us that he will stand with the Academy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Government and the people of Ukraine to the end of Russian aggression.
As a result of the meeting, the Cooperation Agreement was signed. The agreement laid the foundation for bilateral cooperation in the field of professional training of diplomats and civil servants in the field of European public law and governance.
The Cooperation Agreement was signed by Hennadii Nadolenko, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and Spyridon Flogaitis, Director of the European Public Law Organization.
The meeting was attended by Emmanuel Androulakis, Chargé d’Affaires of Greece in Ukraine, Servulo Correia and Yannis Drossos, members of the European Public Law Group, Yuriy Voloshyn, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as Serhii Khudiyash and Oleksandr Kyrychenko, Deputy Directors of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
