Day 1 | Scientific and Practical International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy

Panel discussions on the first day of the conference covered the following topics:

  • Сyber diplomacy: opportunities and prospects.
  • International legal agenda: shaping norms in cyberspace.
  • Cyber security as a challenge of cyber diplomacy: protecting critical infrastructure.
  • Fighting cybercrime: a global response.

Cyber security and cyber diplomacy experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the Council of Europe, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Lancaster University, the Oxford Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre, the University of Cambridge, the Cyber Police, the Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the German Council on Foreign Relations, the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, The Economic Security Council of Ukraine, the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, the IBM Government and Regulatory Affairs, Lodz Cyber Hub, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, Waterfall Security Solutions, the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate, etc. took part in the discussion.

The event is organized in partnership with the Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) Global in Ukraine with the support of the U.S. Department of State.
