About the center

The Information Resources Centre (CIR) is a structural subdivision of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, established for communication and information resource support of the Academy. CIR implements the communication of the institution through the use of such media channels as:

Since September 2017, the renovated Diplomatic Academy has been hosting club-type events, which are a meeting place for Ukrainian and foreign diplomats with high-ranking officials, prominent scientists and cultural figures, public activists and businessmen. Our discussions regard world processes and foreign policy prospects facing Ukraine. Club activities are held in the following areas:

Intellectual club
Cultural club
Student diplomatic laboratory

The Information Resources Centre also includes a book fund, which consists of more than 18 thousand copies of specialized literature on traditional and electronic media. The Academy also preserves the personal archive of Hennadii Udovenko (1931–2013), Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (1994–1998) as a source on the history of diplomacy and foreign policy of independent Ukraine.

Since 2019, the distance learning platform “Academy Online” has been successfully operating – it is lectures, presentations, thematic courses, text materials, e-library, which are collected taking into account the specifics of the diplomatic service. The authors of the materials contained in the distance learning platform are specialists and teachers of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, as well as partner organizations.
