Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Ihor Ostash met with Lilia Shevchenko, chairwoman of the All-Ukrainian Women's Territory Association and member of the Public Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for strategic cooperation in the field of cultural diplomacy, in particular the implementation of a joint international cultural project — the reissue of a historical book in Arabic with the aim of promoting Ukraine abroad, spreading the true historical narrative and strengthening intercultural dialogue with the countries of the Arab world.

A separate area of agreement was the Academy's provision of an expert and educational platform for round tables, strategic discussions and training programmes with the participation of representatives of the ‘1325 Women. Peace. Security’ coalition, including participants from other countries. This international format will facilitate the exchange of experience, strengthen the role of women in peacebuilding, security and recovery processes, and develop professional intergovernmental cooperation networks.

The prospect of launching a certified educational programme on cultural diplomacy was also discussed, which will become a platform for training a new generation of specialists — experts capable of effectively representing Ukraine at the global level through the instruments of culture, education and public diplomacy.

The meeting confirmed the mutual readiness for long-term partnership and implementation of joint initiatives aimed at strengthening Ukraine's international image and developing a professional diplomatic community.
