On 27–28 January, a seminar for representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine entitled “Export Promotion and Investment Attraction” was held at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.
The lectures were delivered by Olha Bakalinska, Head of the Innovation Development and Investment Support Division of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and Oleksii Hrushetskyi, Deputy Director for Export Promotion at the State Institution “Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development.”
Over the course of two days, the seminar participants discussed key issues related to attracting investment to Ukraine, in particular the essence and types of investments, their role in economic development, as well as the impact of the war on the investment climate.
Special attention was given to export promotion. During the lectures, the main models for Ukrainian companies’ entry into foreign markets were examined, along with state support instruments for exporters, the formation of an export brand, and the role of diplomatic institutions in promoting Ukrainian goods and services abroad.
