On June 21, DAU hosted an online presentation “Undermining Kakhovka HPP: Consequences and Challenges for Ukraine”. The event was hosted by Tetyana Tymochko, Advisor to the Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, Head of the All-Ukrainian Environmental League. The online meeting was attended by employees of Ukraine’s foreign diplomatic missions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Agency of Ukraine for Environmental Protection.
During the presentation, the speaker spoke about the humanitarian consequences of the terrorist act committed by russia and the catastrophic damage caused to Ukraine’s infrastructure, environment and economy. She also spoke about the measures taken by the Ukrainian government and the need for assistance from Ukraine’s partners and friends.
