On April 28, 2021, diplomats of the Ukrainian foreign diplomatic missions completed a week of practical training in public diplomacy from the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and the American Councils for International Education.
During the training, public diplomacy expert Tanya Khomyak-Salvi:
- highlighted the theoretical and practical aspects of public diplomacy;
- shared ways to implement public diplomacy projects in the work of diplomatic missions of Ukraine;
- provided expert advice to participants on specific examples.
The event was organized within the framework of the Knowledge Transfer Initiative for Ukraine Public Diplomacy: funded by the US Embassy in Ukraine to build capacity at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
