A specialized course for employees undergoing training before rotation to political positions at foreign diplomatic institutions started at DAU.
During the first week, diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Victoria Lialina-Boiko, Valeriy Kravchenko, Iryna Yefremova, Yevhen Shendrikov, and Valentin Skuratovsky, gave lectures for the course participants.
The main topics raised by the speakers were the priorities and tasks of Ukraine’s foreign policy in the conditions of war, public diplomacy, European integration, preparation and conclusion of international treaties, cooperation with international organizations.
The diplomats also discussed the US and China foreign policy priorities with expert of the Center for Defense Strategies Oleksandr Khara. And the trends of world politics were spoken in detail by representative of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future Iliya Kusa as well.
