A specialized course for officials undergoing training before rotation to positions on consular affairs at foreign diplomatic institutions started at DAU.
The training was opened by Director of the Department General for Consular Service of the MFA of Ukraine, Roman Goriainov, who spoke about the specialties of consular work during the war, the main issues that employees of foreign diplomatic institutions are currently facing, and the priority tasks of consuls.

The main task of the Ukrainian consul is to help Ukrainians who are outside our country, to ensure their rights and legitimate interests. At the same time, special attention must be paid to vulnerable categories of citizens who were forced to leave Ukraine and seek temporary protection abroad as a result of russia’s aggression against our state.
