On 18 July, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine held an additional training on communications at the request of sports organisations and athletes who participated in the Sports Diplomacy course in June.
The materials of the online training “Communication Skills” were adapted for Ukrainian athletes, sports federations and organisations that train and represent Ukraine at competitions abroad, in particular at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The speakers of the training were Viktoria Lialina-Boiko, Director of the Department of Public Diplomacy and Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, Spokesperson for the Ministry, Oleksandr Sudarkin, Director of MBA programs and Head of eLearning Lab at MIM Business School, and Yaroslav Turbil, MFA expert on digital diplomacy and creative communications.
The training program was developed by the public organisation “Smart Power and Leadership” with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.
