Today the international training course “Common & Shared Challenges in Europe from the Black Sea Region Perspective” organized by the SAU and the Estonian School of Diplomacy has finished.
On the final day of the study visit, students from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine had a number of official meetings, including:
● Meeting with Urmas Reinsalu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia,
● Meeting with Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament,
● Meeting with Marina Kaljurand, diplomat, Member of the European Parliament.
During the meetings, the participants discussed the current political and security situation in the region, as well as the consequences of the Russian aggression against Ukraine for the countries of the Black Sea region and the European and global security system in general.
