Together with allies we can definitely stop the Russian aggression and reliably defend freedom in Europe

We appeal to the whole international community, to all people of goodwill, and to our colleagues and friends from diplomatic academies around the world.

As you may know, on February 24th, at 5.00 am the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine from the East to the West, from the South to the North, including our capital, Kyiv.

This is a declaration of war against the whole free world. This is the crime against humanity. Russian tank columns crossed the state border from all directions, including Belarus, and are aiming at the capital city.

Russia’s missiles are now aimed at destroying infrastructure objects: on February 27th, they targeted the fuel base in Vasylkiv (Kyiv region) and seized Chornobyl Nuclear Power Station. Russia is violating numerous international conventions and rules of war. Russians keep attacking kindergartens and orphanages, ambulance crews, and civil in response, Ukraine has activated its right to self-defense according to the Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Our army is strong and is doing its best to protect the country and the whole Europe from Russia. Ordinary Ukrainians join territorial defense units and donate money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and blood for wounded.

We will defend our homeland by all means and will never give up our independence and sovereignty.

At this hard time for Ukraine, we need solidarity and support from our friends and partners all around the world.

The most important things we ask you to do right now are:

Read and share the verified information about Russia’s attack on Ukraine, e.g.:
