The online media Vechirniy Kyiv published news about the opening of the exhibition “Terra Ucrainorum” at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. The author Tetiana Asadcheva emphasized the importance of this exhibition, which presents the evidence of Ukraine’s vast cultural heritage.
“Ukraine is not just a part of European civilization, but the country and people who have a huge historical and geographical heritage, which is confirmed by thousands of copies of ancient maps,” the project initiators are convinced.
In their opinion, these ancient maps debunk the well-known russian modern narrative that Ukraine has never existed and has been allegedly “invented” by Lenin.
Among the historical maps exhibited, the oldest is the map “Eastern Europe until the end of the 13th century,” based on the Rus’ Chronicle.
