On 7 May, Ihor Ostash, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, met with Barakat Ali Elleity, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ukraine. 

The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Director Iryna Ivashchuk and Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Kateryna Sydorenko.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and the Egyptian Institute for Diplomatic Studies in the field of professional training and continuing education for diplomats. The parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in deepening institutional cooperation and advancing Ukrainian-Egyptian dialogue in the field of diplomatic education.
