An important milestone in the institutional development of the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the MFA of Ukraine is the official registration of the academic journal “Academia Diplomatica UA” by the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.

The registration was carried out pursuant to Decision No. 345 of 5 February 2026 on the state registration of a print media outlet. The adopted decision confirms the journal’s official status and marks a new stage in the development of the Academy’s academic and analytical activities.

“Academia Diplomatica UA” is the Academy’s official peer-reviewed scientific and analytical periodical, designed to serve as a modern platform for the Ukrainian diplomatic school. The mission of the journal is to foster and advance academic and expert discourse in the fields of international relations and foreign policy, to provide research-based analytical support for foreign policy decision-making, and to integrate the intellectual contributions of Ukrainian scholars into the international arena.

The journal’s key objectives include:

• publishing original research in diplomacy, international relations, international law, security studies, public diplomacy, and international economics;

• analysing current global and regional trends;

• presenting analytical papers, interviews, expert assessments, and practice-oriented insights from the diplomatic service;

• facilitating dialogue among career diplomats, scholars, think tanks, and international partners;

• upholding the principles of academic integrity and internationally recognised peer-review standards.

The journal will be published quarterly in Ukrainian and English, in both print and electronic formats, applying contemporary international publishing standards (double blind peer review, DOI assignment, international indexing).

The Editor-in-Chief of the journal is the Director of the Academy, Ihor Ostash.
The Executive Editor is Mykola Taranenko.
