On 27 May, a three-party cooperation agreement was signed between the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, the ‘Liatoshynsky Foundation’ NGO and the Scientific Society of the History of Diplomacy and International Relations.
The agreement was signed by the Academy’s Director, Ihor Ostash; the Chair of the Liatoshynsky Foundation, chamber musician and Associate Professor at the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, musicologist, researcher and custodian of Boris Liatoshynsky’s musical legacy Tetiana Homon, and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor and Chair of the Scientific Society for the History of Diplomacy and International Relations Iryna Matiash.
The document lays the foundation for a long-term partnership and aims to develop cooperation in the field of public and cultural diplomacy, as well as to promote Ukrainian culture, science and education worldwide.
Key areas of cooperation include the organisation of academic and cultural events, such as round tables, conferences, discussion forums and academic-creative residencies, as well as the staging of concert programmes featuring the works of Borys Liatoshynsky and other Ukrainian and international composers in Ukraine and abroad.
The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine expresses its gratitude to its partners for their trust and constructive cooperation and is convinced that this initiative will make a significant contribution to the development of Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy.
