Before the start of the training, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Ihor Ostash, met with guest lecturer Michael Roberts to discuss the course content, its practical focus and prospects for further cooperation. As a result of the conversation, the parties agreed to develop joint educational initiatives aimed at improving the competencies of diplomats and civil servants in the field of public communications.

Michael Roberts is a former British Ambassador, programme director of the Diplomatic Skills Lab and an expert with many years of experience in diplomatic communications and public speaking training.

The course programme aims to increase participants' confidence in public speaking in English, improve their speech preparation and delivery skills, and teach them how to use rhetorical techniques to interact effectively with different audiences.
