The main topic of discussion was the finalisation of details of a memorandum of cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and the Matias Romero Institute, a leading educational institution of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs that trains diplomatic personnel. The document, which will be signed in the near future, will open up new opportunities for academic and professional exchanges.

During the meeting, the key areas of cooperation were outlined:

• participation of Ukrainian diplomats in internship programmes at Mexican diplomatic institutions;

• implementation of joint cultural projects;

• organisation of training and research to improve the qualifications of specialists in international relations.

Cooperation with the Matias Romero Institute is important for the development of Ukraine's relations with the countries of the Global South, in particular Latin America. It will contribute to the deepening of diplomatic contacts in this region and the expansion of opportunities for joint educational and cultural initiatives, which will help strengthen Ukraine's position in the international arena.

At the end of his visit, the Ambassador viewed the exhibition ‘Skovoroda in the Works of Ukrainian Artists,’ which is currently on display at the Academy.
