On 15 December, the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine hosted the Czech–Ukraine Discussion Forum 2025 ‘Overcoming Challenges’.
The event, co-organised by the Academy, brought together leading Ukrainian and Czech experts, scholars and representatives of contemporary think tanks from both countries. The forum provided a platform for in-depth discussion of current challenges in the areas of security, Euro-Atlantic and European integration, reforms, reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as issues of historical memory.
Ihor Ostash, Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech in Czech, which was particularly warmly received by Czech partners and emphasised the atmosphere of trust and partnership between our countries.
Natalia Fiyalka, Deputy Director of the Second European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, took part in the forum and delivered a short introductory speech, emphasising the importance of further deepening the strategic dialogue between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine consistently supports international expert initiatives and platforms for the open exchange of ideas that contribute to the development of partnerships and the strengthening of Ukraine's position in Europe.
