Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine Ihor Ostash met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Ukraine, Rafael de Mello Vidal. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Director Iryna Ivashchuk, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs Kateryna Sydorenko, and Counselor of the Embassy of Brazil Eduardo Lessa.

The participants discussed promising areas of cooperation between the DAU and the Rio Branco Institute (the Diplomatic Academy of Brazil), opportunities for exchanging experience in training Master's students in international relations, organizing joint seminars and roundtables, and conducting an essay competition among Ukrainian students. The Ambassador of Brazil, like most Brazilian diplomats, is also a graduate of the Rio Branco Institute.
