From 4 to 8 May, the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine continued professional training for diplomats as part of a specialized course in preparation for rotation to political posts at foreign diplomatic missions.
During the week, the following topics were covered in detail: “Public Diplomacy” (speaker Viktoriia Lialina-Boiko, Director of the Directorate General for Public Diplomacy and Strategic Communications at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine), “Contemporary Energy Geopolitics” (speaker Mykhailo Honchar, President of the “Strategy XXI” Center for Global Studies), “The Art of Diplomacy in the Context of European Integration of Ukraine” (speaker Michael Roberts, career British diplomat, Ambassador, Chairman of the Board and Director of the European company “Diplomatic Skills Lab”), “Regional and Global Consequences of the ‘Iranian’ War” (speaker Ihor Semyvolos, Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies).
In-depth and professional coverage of the topics, high-quality presentations, and the use of interactive teaching methods ensured the diplomats’ active participation in the learning process and their exceptionally positive feedback regarding the speakers and their high professional standards.
