On 11 June, the first stage of the special short-term programme ‘Communication and Presentation Skills in the European Union’ for Ukrainian civil servants was completed at the DAU.

Märt Volmer, Estonian diplomat, consultant and coach specialising in EU and international affairs; Executive board member at VTX Management OÜ, continues his work in Kyiv.

The training focused on working with documents and memos in the context of cooperation with European institutions. Mr. Märt Volmer shared his own experience of implementing adaptive practices when reporting on political issues.

The programme concluded with a discussion of the current prospects for European integration and Ukraine's accession to the EU. The discussions within the programme served to spread awareness among Ukrainian civil servants of the specifics of interacting with their European colleagues.
