A working meeting was held between the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Ihor Ostash, and the Director General of the Diplomatic Academy of Mauritania, H.E. Taleb Khyar Abdi Salem Ebaby.

The meeting was another step towards strengthening Ukrainian-African dialogue in the field of diplomatic education. The African region is one of the priorities of Ukraine's foreign policy, and diplomatic education plays a key role in shaping a professional and deep understanding of this area.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for launching joint educational initiatives, including lecturer exchange programmes, round tables, thematic training sessions and expert discussions on regional politics, cultural characteristics and contemporary challenges in international relations in Africa.
