On November 6, 2025, the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a roundtable discussion titled “European Perspectives on Scenarios for the Development of Russia’s War in Ukraine in 2025–2026,” organized jointly with the GLOBSEC Kyiv Office.
Ukrainian and foreign diplomats, analysts, and representatives of academic and security institutions took part in the discussion.
In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Ihor Ostash, Director of the Diplomatic Academy, emphasized the importance of combining education, analytical work, and public diplomacy to address contemporary security challenges.
The honored guest of the event was Mr. Klaus Korhonen, Ambassador for Policy Planning at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA), and Member of the Atlantic Council of Finland.
Participants discussed the key findings of GLOBSEC’s report “Seven Security Scenarios on the Russian War in Ukraine for 2025–2026,” which was presented earlier this year at major international security forums in Prague and The Hague.
The event continued the fruitful partnership between the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and GLOBSEC, aimed at fostering a joint European-Ukrainian vision of a future security system based on the principles of law, resilience, and shared democratic values.
