The final stage of the specialized course on consular affairs has concluded at the DAU. The final week of training was dedicated to deepening knowledge in legal protection, documentation, and the implementation of modern accessibility standards in consular activities.
The program of this training block covered the most relevant areas requiring special attention from consular officers:
Cooperation between foreign diplomatic missions and bar associations on the protection of the rights and interests of Ukrainian individuals and legal entities abroad. Processing of lawyer inquiries.
Certification of official documents: legalization and apostille. Document retrieval.
Accessibility policy in Ukraine.
Barrier-free communication in the activities of diplomatic representatives.
Accessibility policy as Ukraine's commitment to the Council of Europe.
Issuance of passport documents and maintenance of consular records in foreign diplomatic missions.
