The academic year has come to an end at the Language Training Centre of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. From 4 to 19 June, the Centre is holding examinations to assess the foreign language proficiency of Ministry of Foreign Affairs staff who completed a training course during the 2025–2026 academic year. The course programme focuses on professional language and is directly linked to the activities of diplomatic service staff.
More than 200 students are taking exams in 10 foreign languages. Based on the results of the tests, MFA staff will receive certificates at levels ranging from A2 to C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Despite the incredible workload and unprecedented challenges facing Ukrainian diplomats today, they are tirelessly mastering foreign languages and striving to continuously improve their language skills.
